Many of the stars were out for the premiere of Piranha-3D. Jessica Szohr, Elizabeth Shue, Riley Steele and others. Piranha word of mouth is that it is a campy horror movie, but worth seeing. After seeing the red band trailer, it looks like you need to be ready for some serious gore as well. We will see how the box office numbers do.

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman in The Switch

Posted by onthego On August - 18 - 2010

A romantic comedy about a woman looking for a sperm donor to have a baby, and the natural comedy ensues. Jason and Jennifer are probably a pretty funny match up. The movie sounds like a typical Aniston style RomCom, so we cannot tell exactly how well it will do, as it might just be light fare and not much of a stretch for her. This movie and subject matter are also what got Bill Orielly all riled up and arguing with Aniston in the press.

The Expendables – Premiere

Posted by admin On August - 8 - 2010

The Expendables is a good action packed movie, with your favorite 80’s and 90’s action heros. It is a group of mercenaries, from a previous generation out to stop the new, bad guys. The comedy, action and teamwork demonstrated by Stallone and others works, and see these guys in action once more is great to see.

Captain America movie notes and artwork

Posted by onthego On July - 21 - 2010

This info probably came from ComicCon this week. The director of the new Captain America movie said this about the character, Steve Rogers.
The director of “Captain America: The First Avenger,” the 2011 summer blockbuster that will coincide with the character’s 70th anniversary, says the screen version of the hero will be true to his roots — up to a certain point.
“We’re sort of putting a slightly different spin on Steve Rogers,” said Joe Johnston, whose past directing credits include “Jurassic Park III” and “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.” He’s a guy that wants to serve his country, but he’s not a flag-waver.

Posted by onthego On July - 15 - 2010

Paramount has openly said it wishes to make MI-4 with Tom Cruise. They are rumored to be watching how Knight and Day does overseas to be sure Cruise is still marketable there, as that will be key to MI-4’s success worldwlde. Paramount is also rumored to be open to re-cast the Ethan Hunt role if it doesn’t work out with Cruise.

Update from the Hollywood Reporter:Tom Cruise is returning as agent Ethan Hunt in a plot whose details are being kept under a lid of secrecy. J.J. Abrams, who is producing with Cruise and Paula Wagner, worked on the story with scribes Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum, who have written the screenplay.

I will probably see anything JJ Abrams has to do with, everything he is a part of is pretty good. TV and Film.
